Recall Overview
In April 2009, Viking Range Corporation recalled approximately 52,000 freestanding and built-in gas ranges. Gas could leak from a valve or connection point in the range, posing fire and explosion hazards.
Consumers were advised to immediately check for gas odors and contact Viking Range Corporation for a free in-home inspection and repair. If a gas odor was detected, consumers were told to leave the home immediately.
