Electrolux Recalls Refrigerators Due to Choking Hazard from Ice Maker (2022)
Recall Overview
In June 2022, Electrolux Group recalled approximately 355,000 Frigidaire and Electrolux branded French door and side-by-side refrigerators. The ice maker’s ice level detector arm could detach and fall into the ice bucket, posing a choking hazard.
The recalled refrigerators were sold at major retailers from February 2020 through January 2022. Consumers were advised to immediately inspect their ice maker and contact Electrolux for a free repair.
