BSH Expands Recall of Dishwashers (Bosch Included) (2018)
Recall Overview
In January 2018, BSH Home Appliances expanded a previous recall of dishwashers sold under multiple brand names including Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Kenmore, and Jenn-Air. The power cord connection to the dishwasher could overheat and pose a fire hazard. This expanded recall included approximately 400,000 additional units.
The affected dishwashers were sold at various retailers nationwide. BSH received additional reports of power cord overheating incidents. Consumers were advised to contact BSH for a free replacement power cord and installation.
